다양한 패션 영역을 넘나드는 케이 킴이지만 그녀의 활동 분야는 여기에서 그치지 않는다. 오랜 프랑스 생활에서 얻어진 전문가적인 와인 지식과 수준급의 음식솜씨는 귀국 후 ‘카페 드 꼬레’라는 한식 퓨전 레스토랑을 통해 많은 이들에게 찬사를 받은 바 있다. 뿐만 아니라 뛰어난 인테리어 감각을 바탕으로 두 군데의 의상샵과 레스토랑 그리고 자택에 이르기까지 전세계에서 틈틈이 수집한 골동품과 예술품 등 동서양의 만남, 가장 한국적인 것과 가장 서양적인 디자인의 MATCH로, 뛰어난 아름다운 공간을 창조하여 새로운 인테리어 CONCEPT에서도 선두주자로 자리 매김하고 있다.

Believing that human body makes clothes, it is Kay Kim’s philosophy that she has to make “clothes that look most beautiful when they are put on.” Among many other costumes, especially, Kay Kim’s costumes attract our attention; because her costumes lean towards ‘people who wear them.’ In addition to studying design, Kay Kim, completed MJM (Mouvement-Juxtaposition-Maquette, Paris) and London CMB Color and Fashion Consulting course, studied fashion consulting, and her experiences support her design philosophy.
Also, Kay Kim is the one who could harmonize oriental beauty with western beauty. For a long time, she learned western beauty as she studied and worked in England, France, and other countries. As Kay Kim launched the brand After 5’, specialized for the party dress, in October 2006, it opened up the first domestic party dress market and is being loved by many people.
